Scholarships
Scholarships: Each year the Rotary Club of Sharon typically offers two (2) $1000 scholarships. The first is always in honor of Roger Dennett, the first president of the Rotary Club of Sharon who provided the seed money which grew into a self-sustaining endowment fund. A second scholarship is offered by the Club as funds allow.
Applicants must be Sharon residents attending a 2 or 4 year college. They must have good academic achievements and exhibit a passion for community service. Applications are due the 3rd Friday of April. Please click HERE for the most current copy of the scholarship application. Applications are evaluated by our Scholarship Committee.
Winners will be invited to present their winning essay or presentation to the members of our club at one of our weekly meetings. You can email our scholarship chair Paul Milner with questions.
