Earth Day 2026 - An Epic Success!
Proving again that COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS make all the difference! Sharon Rotary loved teaming up with the Sharon Muslim Association and the Sustainable Sharon Coalition on this year's Roadside Cleanup.
Our collective impact:
- 70+ volunteers turned out including many school-age and high school students, plus members of Town’s Select Board!
- 10 Streets/communal areas cleaned: Gavins Pond, Soccer field, Chase Dr, Massapoag St, Memorial Beach, Walpole St, Rt 27 train station area, S Main Street train bridge area, Corner of Clarke Street, and a stretch of S. Washington St in Norton).
- 50+ bags of trash collected!
